Bethel URC is a fellowship of God’s people dedicated to live and worship for the glory of God. We believe that our salvation, from beginning to end, is a gracious gift from God, and that He therefore deserves our praise in every area of life. Our name “Reformed” means that we are greatly indebted to the teachings of Calvin, Luther and other Reformers.

We believe that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God and our only authority for faith and life. It is our desire to call people to repentance of sin and to a life of thankful praise through the faithful preaching of the Word of God. We heartily subscribe to the three Forms of Unity (Belgic Confession, Canons of Dort and the Heidelberg Catechism) and are a member of the United Reformed Churches in North America.

If you plan to visit or relocate to the Grand Rapids area, we invite you to come and worship with us. We gather for worship every Sunday at 9:30 am and 5:20 pm. (Find map and Directions at the Find Us Page).

Additional ministries include: Catechism classes, Cadets and Girl’s Club meetings, Junior High Youth Group, High School Youth Group, Young Couples’ Bible Study, Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies, and Leadership Training Classes for current and potential church office bearers.
